This involved the strip out and re-fit of a building constructed in the 1980’s. The space was to act as a welcome space for International Students, providing resources and assistance, alongside a top floor study space exclusive to the post-graduate student population. The detailing, materials and finishes were designed to compliment a more mature feeling space, well acoustically treated and set apart from the undergraduate study areas, to offer added value to the post-grad experience and provide an environment more attuned to the needs of this particular sector of the university.
