Vineyard Hearth

The brief for this project was the creation of a new social and youth space for the Vineyard Church in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. The existing church space is housed within an industrial unit and had outgrown it’s 6000 sq.ft venue. The church has a strong social and community outreach vision, and partners with many local charities in the area. This, alongside a thriving youth demographic, led to the brief of providing an additional 12,000 sq,ft of space focused on social and welcome space, along with youth and community facilities. The expansion involved fitting out the industrial unit next door - the aesthetic internally is driven with a simple cost effective approach, leaning into existing industrial finishes and deliberately away from a typical “church” feel.
